"Junior and Senior" Dual Credit College Courses Offered: Veribest Independent School District now offers Dual Credit College Courses for both Juniors and Seniors who attend our campuses. In past years only Seniors have had the opportunity to attend college courses through our Distance Learning program as well as online through Howard College. Veribest Athletic Booster Scholarships: The Athletic Booster Club awards two scholarships each school year to the Most Qualified Gentleman and Lady Falcon who are involved in sports programs at Veribest High School. The scholarships are tuition-based scholarships. The monies are paid directly to the college of choice. If, after a scholarship is awarded the recipient does not attend college, the award will be given to the next applicant deemed worthy to receive the award. More on the Story >> Listen to Audio

Tax Rate Statement: Veribest ISD adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for Maintenance and Operations than last year's tax rate. The tax rate will raise taxes for Maintenance and Operations on a $100,000 home by approximately ($0.12).
